The Program of Undergraduate Agreement-Students (PEC-G), offers to students from developing countries with those that Brazil maintains educational, cultural or scientific-technological agreement, the opportunity to conduct their undergraduate studies in Brazilian Higher Education Institutions. PEC-G selects foreigners, from 18 and preferably up to 23 years old, done with high school, in order to conduct free undergraduate studies in the country. In contrast, the selected students must prove that they are able to cover their expenses in Brazil. Firstly, foreign students need to do the Portuguese for Non-native speakers course during their 1st year in the institution, shortly after their arrival at UFRR. Then, they do the proficiency test in Portuguese CELPE-BRAS and after passing it, they can start their undergraduate programs normally like the other students. Finally, they must return to their home countries to work on their study field.
